The Mining Museum traces the development of lead and zinc mining in the Upper Mississippi Valley through models, dioramas, artifacts and photographs. A guided tour includes a walk down into the Bevans Lead Mine, an 1845 lead mine and a train ride around the museum grounds in ore cars which pulled a 1931 mine locomotive. There are 90 steps into the mine where it is 52 degrees year-round.

Rollo Jamison Museum has a collection of over 20,000 items including everything from arrowheads to carriages, mechanical music boxes to farm implements. In the making since Rollo Jamison, born in Beetown, WI in 1819, found his first arrowhead as a boy on the family farm. The collection grew over the years and now represents the history of Southwest Wisconsin. Open daily 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., May-October. Potosi
· Badger Hut Trail
Located across from the St. John Mine. Well preserved examples of how the lead miners lived during the lead mining days. There are several Badger Huts along the trail. These were shelters for the miners, that were covered over with tree branches to protect the miners.

Potosi has the longest main street in the world without a crossing intersection.

Located on Park St., just off of East St. or Hwy. 133, Potosi, WI 53820 This is a quiet, peaceful park, which offers picnicking, a playground for the kids, sand volleyball, horseshoeing, basketball and hiking in a wooded setting. There is a VFW Memorial there.
· Old Irish Cemetery
The cemetery is located near the Badger Hut Trail. Civil War Veterans are buried there. Gravestones date back to 1838.
